Hello All
I have been searching for new information on the net without much success over the past week, however there is a post on "Eye on Spain" on 13th January by "Ethers" who has been told by PW that not only the Town Centre is under construction but also Las Islas!
The Las Islas part should probably be taken with a large shoveful of salt.
More interestingly "Ethers" was told that a consortium of banks fronted by Credit Suisse has agreed to cleare all PW debt in exchange for taking ownership of Condado de Alhama.
This perhaps requires an enormous bag of salt (containing at least 10 shovelfuls) considering the source of the information but we can always hope.
If anyone is out there or going shortly it would be good to find out if there is still construction activity and any photos available.
cranes are in place for 2nd part of phase 2 (5)but no building work as yet, ie between roundabout and phase 1
ReplyDeleteljcullen - We have received a phone call yesterday to say we are due to complete in Mid March and that the phone call was to ensure we have everything ready for this and can complete by the date given. Have to say shocked, relief but also now exteremly warey - anyone else in the same position out there? Also anyone recommend a valid Solicitor, not an advert - however a very good recommendation came from this Blog for Mortgage advise...spot on best bit of advice so far. If you follow this blog you are kept in the loop and can tidy up all ends you may need. Many Thanks
ReplyDeleteThe town centre at Condado is built and has been for a while. There's good bar, restaurant and supermarket open and recently a golf pro shop with golf bag storage facilities and showers. Other units are to be taken by the local council as offices but there will be one or two units unused. We hope PW can open a couple of other bars ora coffee shop. Los Lisla is built and proerties have completed on there with others to follow though I imagine thre's some good deals availabe now. The golf course is open and looks glorious. Owners are stiill hoping the golf club building will go ahead beore too long as the pro-shop is is a temporary measure until that date.
